Oh god what a mess, those youtube videos don't convey the horror of this job.
I'm to the point of putting it back together, and have a question. I took the lock cylinder out first and kinda pulled out on the handle and the whole thing came out with a rod connected to the actual handle lever part. I didnt see where the rod end went, because I took the latch that locks onto the door post loose. The lock cylinder connects to this latch and there is a hole just down from that, does the door handle rod just push into that hole?? Or did I break something? I hope my mechanic speak hasn't confused you all.
Crisis averted, this post can be deleted, thanks.
