Engine cutting out??

So as I'm driving along out of no where the engine on my escalade starts cutting out?!?
no check engine lights or anything either...it starts driving right again for a few minutes then surging like it wants to die
...yes there's gas lol
I'm just hoping this isn't the beginning of something major...aside from fuel pump which I'm gonna check what else could it be?

My best guess is fuel pump is going out. I had to replace mine just a couple weeks ago for the same problem.

If it won't start, you could always go under the truck and smack on the bottom of the gas tank and see if you can get the truck to start at all!

Yeah it doesn't always work but it did for one attempt for my truck when mine went out! Good luck and report back!

Yup...luckily it was only the fuel pump that went out
Started cutting out bout 22 miles from home!
Then it got me about 2.5 miles from the house before fully quitting...got totally lucky!!
