Engine noise with new head unit

Hello,

I just put a Pioneer X3700BHS in my 2005 Tahoe. I used the Pac module to adapt it to the truck.

I now hear a whine that changes with engine RPM thru my speakers.

What can I do to isolate this noise?

bad ground somewhere. You can add a better ground to the PAC unit and head unit to see if it goes away

Where do you recommend I ground to?

anything metal inside the dash. If you want, there's already a ground screw on the drivers side kick panel you could wire it to.
