I have a 2002 chevy tahoe z71 with 238,*** miles. I was wondering where I should go about getting a new 5.3l I have no problems with the engine now but just for future reference.. And how much do you think it would cost

I would contact local junkyards or even check craigslist. Members here will agree with me here when I say that the 5.3 is built tough as nails and I would worry more about transfer cases and trannys.

Actually my previous post was about how I had my transmission rebuilt over the summer and It's already acting up but that's a completely different subject.. I appreciate it.
