Me and a buddy of mine were driving and drove through id say a pretty big water whole, maybe a foot and a have to two foot water and went through fine, we eventually went through it again to leave the road we were on and again we were fine. We then were driving for 15-20 minutes without problems and all of a sudden it started to stall very bad and then just died. thinking it was my battery i had a friend come by and try and jump me, it would try and crank but no luck. i believe it might be hydrolocked but the thing is, if it were, why did it effect my engine so much later, usually when a engine is hydrolocked it immediatly stops (as soon as its in the water). could it be water was under the hood and slowly was seeping into the engine? I do not believe it would be a bent rod connecter as any physical damage to the engine would have stopped the truck in its place as soon as i went through the water. What should I do??

unknown at this time.
remove your plugs and try a little crank to see if you push out water. then dry everything including your cylinders out. you might get lucky.
