Erratic rear wiper?

Hi guys,

So, I had a bit of a set back with my "new" 04 Tahoe and ended up having to replace the better part of my braking system. (When the shop says "your brake lines are rusty", the appropriate response is "here are my keys back' call me when it's fixed." Lol) Ever since I've had it back, my rear wiper will randomly come on. Sometimes it'll be when I use my turn signal, or hit a bump, or just because it feels like it. Usually, it'll cycle 3 times, then reseat itself, but sometimes it'll just keep going.

Before I call the shop, does anyone know if brake work would cause something like this? I had my brake lines replaced, front calipers replaced, everything bled, as well as a fluid flush for my transmission, transfer case, and both differentials.

This didn't happen prior to the work. When the wiper is on, my switch does nothing. But, when the wiper isn't moving, the switch acts like it should. It seems to me that something got pulled or nicked that shouldn't have, and that's what's causing the issue.

Not sure if you're the type of person that is going to work on the vehicle yourself or have a shop do everything for you.
One thing about these cars is on the rear lift gate towards the top there is a wiring harness. Inside there sometimes the ground wire for the blade will heat up and melt. So, you may look in there and see if that is what is going on before you send it back to a shop. It may just randomly ground itself out.
Brake work shouldn't have any effect on it though. It may have just heated up while they worked on it to the point it finally burned the wire.
