I am looking to change the tires on my 17 Escalade and am looking for options. On my 2010 I had the Continental Terrain Contacts (factory size 285-45-22) but they rubbed during hard cornering and going over speed bumps or entering and exiting curb cuts at the gas station, mall etc. I just went to continental site and when I enter the size I get the following message "This tire does not fit your vehicle's original equipment size."

What other options do I have? I live in NYC and travel upstate several times a year. Last year got caught in 18"! I read in one of the other posts someone mentioned Michelin Defender LTX??? I had the MS2's on my Denali and they sucked! They wore our pretty quick (I dont do many miles per year), snow traction wasnt the greatest and I wound up getting bubbles in 2 tires so I am little hesitant to go with the Defenders unless I have to.

Back to the Continentals are they over sized? What other options do I have? TIA. Happy Holiday's!
