My 2006 Escalade has a slight 'flutter' that often occurs as the transmission shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. It does not happen every time, and never happens under a heavy foot. If I leave a traffic light in a normal or slow fashion, I can feel the vehicle almost shake (not violently) just a tad.
Like I said, it does not happen all the time, and sometimes it does not do it at all. The truck has 100,600 miles on it and the tranny was flushed by the dealership at 93K....
It is more of an annoyance than anything, doesn't seem to hurt anything, but it is bothersome and I am wondering if it is and indicator of "bad things" to come.
Might it be a bad/weak transmission mount? Would that cause it to do the "flutter' every shift?
Sure would like some input...thanks
Dave
