esky applique. color match or black

i picked up a pair for cheap. bought paint from auto touch up along with adhesion promoter and clear.
i have them painted, will post pics once buffed out. first off, the paint from them is a PERFECT match.
I will put them on, but im already wondering if the color match is going to look wonky and break up the band of black from sides to back.

Any opinions ? i should have them on tomorrow or the next day after i pick up something to buff them out. I could wet sand but i really dont think it needs it.

Can you post a couple quarter and straight on pics so that we can see and give you our input? Hard to remember every trucks color scheme and set up. Nice work on painting yourself BTW.

i probably should have from the start. also, after toying with it. I think i will wet sand, polish and buff.
here is the truck, current with rear oem appliques, and the painted ones.

Color matched FTW!! IMO don't even think twice about making them black again. They will look great.
