Evap Vent Solenoid location

I'm wondering where the evap vent solenoid is located on an 02 Tahoe and what it looks like. I saw on another site somewhere that you can blow these out and reuse them instead of replacing them. Any help would be great.

I have an 05 and i`m pretty sure yours should be in the same location. It sits above the rear differential close to the back side of the gas tank.

I`ve never heard of blowing them out, I hope it works out but for $25 for a new one i`d just change it.

There`s a few youtube video`s on how to do the job.

the vent valve solenoid is above the differential looks like a small little box thing the purge valve solenoid is on top of the throttle bodey
