About to get a 4x4 tahoe. Going on a 6.5 bds lift if that matters.
Because of the lift and bigger tires i really want to get as much power as i can without replacing camshaft or anything internally.
I know the stock truck manifolds work well but is it worth it to get better manifolds? Looked at TSP but i only see for 2wd.
Also what is your favorite catback? Looking at the borla. Need something that sounds great and doesnt get too loud.
I do not like edlebroke or magnaflow garbage. To me they sound disgusting.
On my 00 TA I had TSP 1 7/8" headers with matching X and moroso mufflers and it was definitely one of the best sounding fbodies ive ever eard.
Thank you for all your help!

Some good LT headers are always a good investment, keep in mind, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend looking for the cheapest LTs.

Exhausts provide little to no performance value, so I would go with what looks/sounds best to you. Personally, I like the Corsa Touring.

Correct, exhaust will not give you extra performance, unless your current one is plugged up.

For headers, I like AEM LTs (discontinued though), Dynatechs, Bassani, Doug Thorley and Stainless Works. I have heard ARH is good too.

ARH is a very good brand. Ill look into those. So if long tubes dont help will a corsa or borla cat back at least slip roght on the stock set up?

Catbacks typically fit right into the stock system. If you have LTs you will have to modify a bit for your cats.

Do you normally leave the cats in on these or remove all emmisions? I wanted to do LT's, y pipe, borla catback and remove egr and everything else.

How much did you pay and what sites do you know that have the cheapest prices for exhaust currently?
