I am looking at adding exhaust to my 2004 Yukon Denali and I have a few questions. I was wondering what the stock inlet and outlet sizes are on the exhaust...I know that it is dual in/single out, but the outlet looks bigger than the factory size exhaust on my wifes Tahoe?

I also was wondering about muffler choices...I found a GMPP Touring catback for my Denali for dirt cheap, but don't know if that is going to be just dead silent and worth even putting on? It is the Borla GMPP BTW

Anything is gonna sound sweet, it all depends what kinda sound your want, in my opinion magna flow sounds really good with chevy if you are just putting a muffler on . They are more throaty, I've never heard a borla before but if you take it to a shop and get it done they will usually hack your muffler off and then just hold different mufflers on and see what one you like. Just food for thought man .

Thanks a ton man...I have always had loud exhaust on all my previous vehicles (all Chevy's and all had either Flowmaster 40's, Cherry Bomb Extremes, or Dynomax Bullets).

I know that I don't want something that loud on the Denali because I don't want it to drone, but I want to be able to hear a good rumble and have an aggressive tone while driving, without having to hear it on the highway

Yeah man mine does have a bit of drone but going under an underpass or a bridge its retarded and when it revs up to 45-5k it sounds like a nascar

Ebay, yukon-tahoe MBRP 3.5" stainless catback, 380$ shipped.
Buy a Used stock 5.3 tahoe-yukon, Crossover pipe and bolt it all up.
Good op to remove or change to high flow cats.

Fitment is perfect. Quality is great.
Stealth quiet at idle.
Has a good (quiet) rumble while cruising through neighborhoods.
Sounds great at 40-50 and Roars under WOT.

No in cabin drone at all.

yess.
get all your exhaust for a 04, tahoe-yukon just to be safe as far as fitment issues.

Junkyard, or buy used from someone on Performancetrucks.net, LS1truck.com, GMfullsize.com, etc. Those guys are always switching over to full header back systems and trash their OEM pipes..
