I have a friend who says that he can get me a good deal on some exhaust work. It's been so long since I've done exhaust that I have no idea what's a good price and what's not.

I am wanting to run true duals - now, the mufflers aside (b/c I know the price can greatly vary) - how much should I expect to be looking at if I were going to a typical shop.

run true duels, and you will regret it when your truck turns into a slug below 4k.

I lost quite abit when I opened my 6.0 up to true duels and thats staying with modest 2.5" pipes.
upper mid and top end pull is realy nice. but below 3k is down right ******.

install this and a yank 2800k, then run your true duels... you will LOVE it..
But beware of the performance bug, the ***** bites hard and turns ya into a crack head always wanting more...

Its all about supporting mods bud.. and that kinda exhaust on a stock 4.8 is waaay overkill...

Just install a magnaflow muffler and a new tip... you will be pleasently surprised at the sound and performance you gain with out sacraficing to mutch bottom..

Honestly, the only reason I was considering doing all of that was because of what my friend had told me, but a muffler was all I've been wanting. And really, not even for performance, but for a nice rumble. :) Thanks for your advice!

If your friend can do nice work, does he do referrals. I am in the Dallas area and would like "nice" rumble as well.
