That's a loaded question. You ask these guys that question and they will all tell you something different. No one will agree. Hunt youtube and find one that sounds the way you want to sound and go for it.

Good Luck!

Careful with the turndowns on a SUV. From what I understand turndowns will not pass inspection. I'll find out for sure in June when my inspection is up.

I've posted this before, and I'll say it again. Exhaust is all preference. Some people like straight pipes. Some like high end mufflers. Some like cheap crappy ones. Again, it's all preference. I like expensive high end ones. They sound 100% better IMO. Some like to be ungodly loud and annoying. That's cool too, I guess.

However, I agree on going on youtube and figuring out what you like.

I like the loud and annoying sound, not ungodly, which is why I have always liked glasspacks. They have a classic hot rod sound.

No muffler cut pipe off at the header and rock it like that! There is loudest and baddest right there buddy! Lol. I like my Magnaflow. Not loud as a flowmaster but definitely grumbly. Tomorrow I am cutting my exit pipe off and running straight out back. Also remember a good air intake helps with your overall sound.

Well if cheap is the way you want to go... then head down to your local muffler shop, and let 'em know that.
To be honest, if your gonna spend a few $$, unless you hate your truck, might as well spend a few more and get a system that is how you want it to sound and @ the same time works well with your engine.
I agree w/Anthony's idea of hunting Youtube for sound clips.

I've also heard that having turndowns isn't good for the undercarriage of the truck, as all the moisture from the exhaust isn't evacuated away from the truck.
