Hey Everyone,

I am completely new to this forum, and rightfully so as I just purchased my first Yukon. I got a 2009 Yukon SLT 4WD, white. I love the vehicle as it is, but I am interested in doing a few minor modifications to it, and am looking to all of you for advice! If anyone has done what I am thinking, as I am assuming, I would appreciate the input as well as pictures if you have them.

I would like to de-badge the vehicle. I am curious if anyone knows if the badging is stick on or if it has plugs? I do not want to have to bondo and paint the small holes.

Also, I would like to black out the rear tail-lights. I have done this in the past by removing the lights and spraying the inside with spray tint. Any other ways and opinions on this?

Wheels and rubber. I want the vehicle to be "beafier" rather than "ballin". Im not interested in lo-pro tires and huge rims. I am thinking black rims and have to go through the deciding process there. Has anyone put larger tires on their Yukon of this year and or lifted/levelled the truck.

Finally-Grill swap. I personally like the front end of the tahoes more and have been tossing back and forth about doing a swap, if even possible, or what other grills are recommended?

Any answers or input to any of these questions is much appreciated!

Thank you,

Ryan

Welcome!

1) They're stick on... Pick up some fishing line and Goo-Gone.

2) There's a write-up for smoking tails here- http://tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43568

3) Here's the Yukon's current setup (winter) it's by no means intimidating but have been told it looks beefy I'll get the size in the morning. 33795D77-5BA9-4F88-B8E4-BFAA5A24B277-1057-00000076CD1B9509_zpsa5ea0d48.jpg

4) Contact NathanJax as he swapped to a Denali setup.

It had a bug guard when I bought it. That pic was taken the first 2-3 days I had it, before I took it off

I paid almost $400 for the upper and lower grill since it was brand new from the factory. Used would be half that.your oem stuff just pops out and Denali pops right back in

I finally found a nice enough day to work outside and get the badges off of my yukon. She goes in for tint on friday! Next on the priority list is rims and exhaust, I am open to any suggestions!

Clean!

I wouldn't spend big money on exhaust as it does nothing but sound different. No HP gains at all. You can take the resonator off (the can behind the rear end) and it'll sound much better
