Extra Key Fob/Remotes - 2007 Z71

What's the story for replacement/new remotes on the 2007s?

I've read both ways - you can DIY, and you have to have the dealer do it.

I've got a 5 button (remote start, lock, unlock, rear glass, and panic).

What's the best way to go about getting an extra/replacement? I bought the truck with only 1 included, so I need at least one more. I'd like to get them off of ebay (less expensive).

Yea ebay, is the cheapest. You should be able to program it through your DIC

eeks. that keyless site is expensive. I ordered mine of ebay. key was $15 shipped. $2 to cut at home depot and $20 for a new remote. done.
