My Truck Was Broken Into, Classic Screwdriver Lock Pop. So To Keep It From Happening Again (the same way) I Was Wanting To Put Rear Handles (without the lock) On The Front Doors. Does Anyone Have Any Knowledge Or Experience With This Being Done Before Or Know If There Even Interchangeable?? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum first of all. :welcome: I would imagine that they would work as they are both the same size IIRC. I'm not overly familiar with the OBS though so I will let someone vouch for that if it's accurate.

They are the same size. I don't know how the rear ones are set up though, if the rods are in a way that the handles would be easily interchanged.

Had to replace my front one because of the same thing. The front one has two rods, one for the key and one for switches and the controller. I couldn't even install the key rod so just did the switch/controller rod. If the rear ones take the rod the same way the front ones do, I don't see why this wouldn't work.

Hate to have my first post bump an old thread, but I am buying one tomorrow that has both fronts popped, and I thought I could just throw the rears on.

Anyone learn anything since the thread was started?

If not, I was just going to plug them with something black from home depot or something for the time being so water doesn't get in there. I will have an alarm, so don't need the keyholes...that's what the back is for in case the alarm stops working.
