I built a Boyd Coddington car when I was a teen. Does that count?

I heard about them. Kit car with a late model mustang engine it. Basically you find yourself a late model "donor" car and go from there. Thats about all I know on the matter. Looks like a nice package altogether.

I've done some research on these "kit car" manufacturers and FFR seems to be exceedingly better than the competition. There are other manufacturers out there that are significantly cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

These kit cars are not inexpensive endeavors, though... If you decide to do the '33 Roadster kit plan on spending $35-40k even though the base kit itself is "only" $20k....

In the Hot Rod article, it looks like they are having to do a lot of body work to get the panels to fit. How was the Cobra for fitting the body parts?
