Factory Muffler Size

Just as the title says, does anyone know off hand what the dimensions of the factory muffler on our trucks is? Mines an '02 yukon, I'd get under and measure myself, but before I crawl into the snow I figured I'd atleast ask. Im working out a custom exhaust for my truck and hoping what im thinking will work.

replacing with stock, or you need to know muffler size in and out? (pipe diameter)

specifically the overall dimensions of the muffler, one im looking to replace with is 5x10x16, just wanting to see if its even close so i can 'guesstimate' location, lol

any muffler should fit within reason, and any good muffler shop and weld it up, even if they have to add new pipe/bends.

For me, a Flowmaster 50 series fit, BUT, there are many variances in the 50 series as far as inlet/outlet.

I realize that...im working on a pre-rear axle exhaust exit. Something a little different for our trucks.
