I have to build the speaker rings. I have two JL 10w3v3-4 im running now. Contemplaying on buying another JL or splurging and buying 3 Kicker L7.

No MDF except the speaker rings. I will use fleece to form the from to what i want then resen/fiberglass mat/cloths the S**T out of it

Oh ok. That is a better route.
I would keep the JLs. The Kicker won't sound as good but will handle more power.
Plus, you will rattle like crazy with the Kickers that close to the hatch.

No problem! I'm all the way in Dallas but if I make it to that area this year I will let you know.
So are you going to mount the three subs side by side or staggered?

I think Staggered. I have to get the rings built and play around with positioning. I am going to mount my amp and cap visible also. Trial and error i guess....

Ok. Your using a capacitor?
Abandon that idea and get another battery in your second battery tray.
Also, doing the BIG3 upgrade would be a good idea.
How many watts are you planning to push to the 3 subs?
