So Ive had these 33" Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's on my Yukon for just under a month and Ive been waiting to try some mud. Because if you're gonna buy something, you gotta make sure it does whats its suppose to right?
Its been raining like crazy the past couple of days here in South Texas, so a buddy and I went to check out a local trail, which leads to a huge mud pit, and it has become quite popular around here. My buddy lifted his 2WD Silverado and he just had to give it a shot (LOL).
Its not that there were huge ruts with mud along the trail, the damn thing was like clay!! Super sticky. Heres where he stopped. Wish I coulda taken more pics.... there should be rain all this week... might get some more mud action.
Pulling my buddy out
We went back after I pulled him out to go deeper in the trails. There were 2 trucks stuck bad. I tried to get in to help them but I barely got out of the pit myself. There was a lifted F150 08 or so.... he tried to get out when I went into the pit, but he couldnt climb the hill. It was rather steep, and slushed. I thought I was stuck for sure. But my Yukon pulled through, and climbed up around the F150. LOL the dude was surprised. I dont know if those guys got out. I hope they did.....
These helped get me out

What sucks is that people dump crap around this site, instead of preserving the area so they can keep using it to off-road.....
