finally got the new system

the total was just over $900. Included 2 12" kicker L7s, sealed/ported box, rockford 500.2 amp, install and threw in an extra 25 because the amp didn't come with a bass knob. here are a few pics. I think as of now I'm doing like 1000 RMS. This thing is insanely loud.

Looks good. I bet it sounds great. What do you got going on for a head unit and speakers? Also, it was $900 including labor? If not that seems kinda steep.

yup 900 with tax and labor included. my friend got this same setup for 1000 without tax and install but that was from a guy who ran his own business. as for the hu and the speakers im not to fond of them. i have a jvc kdr-200, im fine with that. but my speakers are terrible, i have blaukpunt set up for the front two, my friends old pioneers set up in the middle, and the old 4x10s in the rear. i need to change those soon.

your post says sealed/ported....which is it, sealed or ported? Looks sealed.

i still have to get the grilles for them. my last setup was literally torn apart because something made a very small hole in the sub, and over time the excursion ripped that pup to pieces. so i went with the L7s, which are glued and stiched. awaiting payday to go back and get the two grilles.
