Impressive first vehicle! Better than mine was! Haha
Mine was an '83 2-door Chevette.... and I didn't realize how lucky I was till years later. When I had it, I got 30 miles per gallon, and it would do 95 with absolutely zero shake at all. Easy and cheap to fix, I learned how to replace a windshield in under 25 minutes (after breaking 3 of them). 175/70/13 tires could be found at any junkyard for about $10 each, compared to the $200 each (or sometimes a LOT more!) we spend on our rigs now.

I loved the older K5 Blazers back when I was growing up, you've got good taste, young man!

I’m so jealous!! That’s a damn sweet ride! I did love my first car! 1999 Camry XLE, V6 with a 5 speed manual. Had to learn to drive the manual before I could learn automatic. Absolutely hated t then, but I’m so thankful now for learning to drive a manual. Haha.

Now I wanted to make my tahoe murdered out so I bought some tinted after market headlights

I loved the look but they weren’t dark enough for me also theydidn’t fit correctly so I returned them and just spray tinted my original headlights. FYI don’t tint your headlights to dark or you won’t be able to see. However, I also purchased a primed grille and painted it black.

And after all of that I assembled it and this was the results!
