The first time driving a stick was in my buddies '84 Trans Am. A Monte Carlo SS pulled up next to us and wanted to race, I only knew how to dump the clutch and floor it so that's what I did and we won! LOL

I learned on my 64 vw (which I still have). It was kinda like "Hmmm, I think there's a gear over here somewhere..." lol

That’s a nice truck! It’s funny because I am 17 years old and my 01 Tahoe is actually my very first car as well. I acquired it from my Grandparents in August of 2016, and I’ve loved it so far! Also since we are on the topic of driving stick, I practically learned how to drive on my Brother’s 06 Chevy Colorado work truck. It had a 5 speed manual, and I actually liked driving it a lot. Its still running strong today. Anyways, keep up the great work!

I finally tinted the 3rd break light and purchased some new headlight projectors.

Now for what y'all been waiting for! Purchased this HD grille and cut 1 1/2 inches off the bottom, sanded the chrome part down with 80 grit, then I primed it, followed by base color and clear coat.

And then I primed it and started my 1st base coat

I also started working on the bumper and basically did the same steps.

And when you put it all together you got a murder out Tahoe! I love the look however, while putting the headlights in I scratched the chrome part so hopefully on the 15th it doesn't rain so I can redo it. I also need to trim the emblem pegs and attach it, and get new foglights as the left one is broken.
