Ford man in SC checking in with my first Chevrolet purchase that I intend on keeping. I'm not a purist like my old man but this body style tahoe surprised me with how much I like it. Just over 200k but very well taken care of 06 with tan leather interior and pass thru seating. Having an issue with the blower motor staying on the whole time but I think I chased it down to the atc as the issue.

Just wanted to stop in and say hey to everyone! I've been creeping the forum for a while and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge

Welcome to the forum from Oregon.

I love my 05 Z71 body style too. I see you got the Z71.

The problem may be the resistor for the blower. I picked just one at RA because I have no idea of your options: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=3978654&cc=1434093&pt=6557&jsn=1409&jsn=1409
Thank you for the suggestion! I see the resistor in this tahoe is new as it is definitely aftermarket. Must've been previous owners first thought as well. My voltmeter found that the ground for the resistor itself is receiving about a volt. From what I read somewhere on this forum it points back to the atc as the issue. I'll do a little more research before I pull the trigger, that was just a quick diagnosis in my driveway after I got home from my trip

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Making this ford man all fuzzy on the inside
