my question is does anyone make NON PROJECTOR.. black HOUSING headlights.. I dont like smoked or tinted on the outside, I like them when they are black on the inside of the light.. and lmk if that grill can be powdercoated black.

i would check on ebay for the black headlights.. i've seen some on there but not sure if its what your looking for. as for the grille, y not? if its aluminum you should be able to powdercoat it.. you got a good base to work with though, nice truck...

I just posted on your exterior thread. I have not seen any non projector black housings. I agree with you 100% about them being better smoked from the inside. What I did with one of my cars back in the day was baked my headlights to soften the silicone sealant and painted the chrome inside my stock housings. You could probably do the same with these ones I am sure. As far as painting/powdercoating the stock grill, a lot of members including JK (who posted above) have done this very same thing.

That is the 2001-2002 Chevy HD truck hood that I was suggesting in your other thread. That is also the SS style bumper cover, black projector headlights and black bumper lights (probably from ebay but you can ask jdpromo). I can understand the fear of water for not wanting to paint your stock headlights. I didn't have any troubles when I did it but I do live in Arizona where we get rain only a few times a year.
