Fixed the prnd, reflowed all the resistors 3 of them had broke solder joints, also did the led conversion and replaced the stepper motors

Nice! Mine has a dim spot and gear indicator is dim

Gear indicater probably needs to be reflowed simple to do if you have access to soldering iron quite a few write ups about it in the forums a for the light its possibly blown or going bad

Video I watched for fixing the dim PRND321. (6 total resisters) Mine would not illuminate at all and failed MD safety inspection. Easy as pie. It doesnt take much, one resister just stuck o the tip of my soldering iron, so you may need to hold it down with a toothpick or very small screwdriver. Just be sure to use narrow gauge solder. I used regular and it boogered up too much.

Which stepper motors did you buy?

Heard there is multiple colored motors that some are better or worse ... any idea which?

Are you able to dim the LED lights when needed? Otherwise it's seems they would be super bright.
