I have a 2011 Tahoe with 3rd row seats. Is there a cargo liner out there that, when 3rd row seats are removed, makes the cargo area flat? Tracks for 3rd row stick up, and it's impossible to stack anything upright in the cargo area.

Well now, that's just it. So, unless you can place something all around the tracks to make something lay flush over everything, I think you're stuck with the raised areas.

If you don't plan on using the third-row seats, pull those tracks out. Mine are somewhere in the Lubbock County landfill. Both the third-row seats AND the tracks.

+1 - It's those tracks that are the problem. They are precisely what keep that area from being entirely flat.

I just like reading your posts for a good laugh! :Handshake:

I hate those track too. I removed my 3rd row seats and stored them in the attic. I wish I could remove the tracks and later put them back in when I go to sell or trade the vehicle but I think they are glued to the carpet.

I did see a post some time ago where someone had taken medium density particle board sheets and attached 1x2's to the bottom to clear the tracks and covered the top with matching carpet. He even made an extension to use when the 2nd row seats were folded forward. From the pics it looked nice.

The tracks are glued to the carpet. You can pull the tracks loose from the carpet if you take the time to do so, and it really doesn't take much time. I think I used a putty knife to work between the carpet and bottom of the tracks when I removed mine last year. The carpet didn't rip, but you can tell where the glue was. Not that it makes any difference once the carpet area is covered over with anything but those useless rear seats. :)

The tracks could easily be glued back in place.

FWIW, the third row seats are worth a FORTUNE on Craigslist.

usually 3~400 when i was looking for a set.
