Got my fans in yesterday. there going on tomorrow. cant wait! tired of that loud roar i nthe summer with the clutch fan... the kit looks complete and easy to install. anyone that has the kit having problems or anything with the 280 kit?

I dunno, i kinda like being able to close my eyes and imagine I'm in a Peterbuilt hauling 180,000 lbs in low range :)

Me too :) but then i think about how awesome it would be to have that much power in my little tahoe and it all goes to shit. Haha

thanks 99YUK. yea i installed mine a few years ago, still going strong but its not a DD, just a summer weekend truck.

Easy install, look at the thread posted by Yuk. If you need anything let us know. youll have to set your flex controller after the install is all done. set by getting the truck up to normal temp and follow your thermostat and pick where you want it to be.

The stock fan sucks so much effin horsepower it is sad. Here in Phoenix when it is 115 and you are on the freeway doing 65 with the front and rear ac on high, the fan is locked up the whole time !!

I swear it sucks 25-30 hp.

I agree ontop of that since I swapped out the stock fan clutch for a severe duty from Hayden my gas mileage has taken a beaten. The "loud roar" almost never goes away......

I have same kit, running on a nelson harness.
Will be installing it this saturday.

In the mean time they are my garage fans!
