I believe the flexplate is cracked on my 2011 Yukon XL 1500 4wd SLT with 113,000 miles.
I've seen YouTube videos describing this failure that match my experience perfectly. It sounds like metal on metal rattling around under the car.
Q. Should I go with OEM, ATP HD, or Pioneer HD? Would like to prevent a repeat failure if possible. Thanks!

Is it only making the noise while starting???
Or all the time ????

Could be the starter (i've ran into this & it's common)
The flexplates are usually good forever on GenIV 's

If you decide to replace it, get the OEM GM part.
