I have a '97 2dr 2wd tahoe. I have 2" DJM Drop Spindles in the front and 4" Belltech Drop Leafs in the back. The back is very bouncy because of the thinner/less number of leafs. I ordered a DJM flip kit for the back and im going back to stock leafs. I have already cut the bump stop bracket off, and the kit i ordered comes with a really small bump stop. I was wondering if any body has a flip kit on a 2dr and how does it ride? Also, I am going to order 1" coils to drop the front a little more. I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with Belltech, Eibach, or Mcgaughys coil springs and which one would be the best. I don't think I want Belltech because they are actually 2" drop coils with a 1" coil spacer, which means one less coil than the other brands. Belltech would probably be too stiff. Please give me some opinions. Thanks

Can't speak from personal experience... yet. I ordered a set of Eibach coils earlier this week - should be here on Monday. From all that I've read, it depends on what kind of ride you're after as far as recommendations are concerned - each has a niche that they seem to cater toward.

Generally speaking, the shorter the coil (larger drop) the stiffer the ride. However, all coils are not created equal - some coils are progressive while others are not. The progressive rate spring will be have a softer ride quality and progressively stiffen as load is applied.
