Fob opens glass but not tailgate

Hi, new here. Just curious if the program guy messed up my fob. JUST bought a 2019 Tahoe LS (Midnight Edition). Just had a fob programmed since it didn't come with one (the dealership sent out a locksmith they deal with). The window glass pops open when you hit the button, but the tailgate itself does nothing. Just wondering if that option didn't come with the LS model and just got a generic fob with the extra button or if I need to call them back to fix it? Thanks.

It’s working correctly , it will only pop the glass open.

I would look at the rear struts to see if there is an electrical connection. Also you could look at the switch in the front overhead panel and if you see a switch that allows you to select 3 different positions for the rear hatch to open then you have the electric hatch. If it’s just a button then no you don’t have it.
