Fog lamp lense fell off..common?

Thats a good find!! Both of mine fell off, replaced part of my bumper, so I trashed them. Bought a set for my dad's Escalade (I think are the exact same as mine) for $40 a piece.

I like the amber look, but can't you just get some amber bulbs and still have the option for white or amber or...??

Another reason I hate the fog lights on these trucks, mine don't have that option, and personally I think they look better without the fog lights in the valence.

Ha, I was just about to post this question and came across this thread. Both of my lenses and gone and surprising both my fog lights still work. The reflectors are very dirty though.

Just keep your old mounting brackets. Some of the aftermarket ones are a little flimsy

One of my lenses fell out, the lights were useless anyway not bright and did not throw any light I had to get out and look at them to see if they were on. I got a pair of ibis tek hid military grade lights and mounted them inside the lens free gm fog light housings. I aimed them to the sides slightly to light up the shoulders of the road to watch out for animals, etc. I wired them directly to the battery thru a relay, the oe fog light button still operates them as well as the 6 high mod
