Thanks for the suggestions. I am surprised there aren't more options.

You should maybe grind down the 2 tabs at 11:00 and 1:00 o clock?

Then try a stock OEM plug with a hole cut in it and see how that works.

There was a reason I couldn't grind down those two tabs, and iirc it was for structural reasons. I would have obviously if I could since that would've eliminated some cutting.
