Ever since I have owned my truck, my fog ligths have never worked. The odd time one will come on...And it seems that the fog light switch dont work either. I know the bulbs are new, tried to do HID's, but didnt matter.

I have a 2002 GMC Yukon, I know where the switch is, and it has the rear window wiper control on it to, its all one unit. I have heard that these have bad grounds, but if that was the case the rear window control wouldnt work?

I want to HID's, and the HI-6 Mod, but I need to some how figure this out.

Any ideas would be greatly apperciative!

Thanks,

-Danny

If you know the switch doesn't work, try replacing that first. The fogs are on their own circuit.

Perfect, I was thinking that if the rear window wipers worked, then so should the fogs.. But I will replace that for sure. And hopefully that will fix the problem..

I havent checked for power to the lights, but every now and then one will randomly come on..

I would definitely check power first, but that sounds like your problem.

You can save yourself the cash on the fog switch and get a relay harness when you go HID and tap your trigger wire ( going to fog relay on the harness) to low beam positive, and then you will just need 4HI MOD since your fogs will remain on with the already lit lows.

Check the relay for the fogs...if you're getting them on once in a while the relay may be bad.

I might just change it all out to new fresh parts, I dont imagine relay and switches been to much.

Thanks again guys!
