Want to add LED strips for footwell area. Have seen a few write-ups on it saying to tap into the gray wire in a harness on the drivers side.
Any other options to tap for power and still signal the lights to turn on and off with the dome lights on entry/unlock then fade out with lock?
Ideally I'd like to use a fuse tap like this

To avoid splicing any factory wiring in my 2013. I tested a few in the fuse box on the drivers door and was only able to get constant on power or nothing from a few different spots.
