FORD 5.0 Electric fan on a k1500 5.7

Hell all. I have a ford 5.0 dual speed electric fan laying around at home. I was thinkin about putting it into my 94 suburban. Is this possible. what will i need. the fan has wire harness. has anyone dont this? will i have to turn it on and off manually? PLease advise
