So my 07 Z71 needs tires. Previous owner had 2011 denali 17 wheels on it with 265/70/17 I believe... the tires are worn(part of getting the vehicle at the price I did)..and need to be replaced. I called my old work, which usually has tons of take offs. They told me they can give me these...

...which are forge-tec 20x9's ...brand new still in box. And 4 take offs(brand new) 275/55/20' goodyear eagle LS-2's... I do not know offset but,...the deal is kinda crazy so, I would be stupid to pass it up, even though the wheel is not really my style(not a chrome fan). Anyone have pics of these on a truck? Kinda would like factory take offs lol.

Those are really nice wheels. They will look just like the U2 55 wheels. Get those puppy's. some body will trade you if you don't like them.

Thanks for the reply man. I was hoping i'd find someone that would , just incase. I think forgetec went outta business , so it's been difficult finding a truck with them. But I will look up the U2 55 and see what I can find.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the pics everyone!!

today,..I ended up getting some wheels/tires from my old dealership that I worked at. Hooked me up big time,..although, the wheels really aren't my style.... I couldn't pass it up.

I bought a complete set of 20's from Forge-Tec good year LS2 tires....

..and I also bought 3 wheels and tires that are the black spare/take off wheels. So, if I count my original spare, I have a full set of the black 17's now as well but, I will look for a new(even though this is unused-my spare) one so I don't have to touch my spare.

Anywho, here's a pic of the 20's...which are a little(lot) too chrome for me but,..some plastic paint, and they may be more me.

I guess the pic of the black wheels didn't take...

Will be mounting the 20's tomorrow morning so we'll see what happens.

Why not take them to a reputable tire shop and try to do a swap for something that suits you better.

Here in ny you could have went to the sae stadium area or hunts point and swapped in a second.

Put a feeler out here on the for sale/trade. Maybe someone is tired of the black look.

I guess I haven't thought about taking somewhere. We have a million and one wheel companies here(boca-ft.lauderdale-miami area).....I could call a place or two...I really don't wanna drive all over south florida on a hope that someone would do that. I'm game but,....the likeness someone is gonna play back, I dunno. Then again, never tried it so, maybe it will be as easy as you say.

Lemme see what I can do. Good thinking :rockit:

...near zero balanced, nitro, Trinity tire size changed, and then aligned. Feels good, def better balance then what was on there before. Slight sluggishness felt in the vehicle compared to the 17" Denali's that where on there before. Anywho, I like the over all look. I ended up screwing up one wheel, just the plasti dip finish,...I put an extra coat on one wheel,..the thicker coat got caught when the close tolerance of the lug nuts to lug nut hole....and pulled a plastic patch right out. It was the last wheel, and a wtf moment but,...you had to laugh. I cut the loose skin...and sprayed new paint right on the wheel without taping it off. It looked horrible when I did that...I planned to take off the wheel and re-doe that one but, looking at it tonight with a light, it doesn't look so bad, as the plastic looks like it mended to itself.

Anyways...fun fun. Done with the truck for a while once I get the rest of the lights installed....next, gear reduction. Picked up my V band manifolds..will start the plotting from here.
