In 2006 my Yukon Owners manual page 3-50, it states the following:
"The four-wheel-drive indicator will light up if the vehicle is in four-wheel-drive"
I engaged the vehicle into four-wheel-drive this morning and all seems to work properly, four-low as well. BUT, no indicator light came on.
I went through the instrument cluster and checked that everything comes on and works as the manual stated. 10/4 on that.
The four-wheel-drive indicator does also not flash or light up prior to start up like the ABS indicator does for example. However, I can see that the four-wheel-drive symbol is on the cluster if I look really hard and close.
Question: Does an SLE Yukon maybe not have that feature for the four-wheel-indicator to come on/stay on while in four-wheel-drive, or is there something wrong with the light not coming on in the cluster?
Thanks.
