Can someone please let me know if this Mod would be necessary for an 07 Suburban (Autoride) with the BT 3/4 kit installed? The reason I ask is b/c I think I recall reading that that kit only lowers the rear of Autoride truck 3.5" and I'm not sure if the bracket removal is necessary at that height.

Also, would adding the DJM axle relocators add anything / be necessary with this drop?

With the extra weight of a burb, carrying people and stuff, I would recommend removing the whole bracket. For me the free travel mod was a peice of mind, not have to worry about large bumps. Not getting embarrassed while others are in the truck with me and slamming down on the bump stops. Then they might think, "oh you ruined your truck lowering it". I deal with that all the time. Then I have them drive it and they're like, "wow! I can't believe how nice it drives!"

I will be doing this to my new truck on my build thread. more than 3 inches I would do it. I am also adding the rear djm kit (i sell all those) Just gives it a better travel path and also fixes the horrible swaybar angle.

Thanks Tony for the advice. My truck is currently set up 2/3 with the Belltech kit, but I am considering putting the BT springs in front with the spacers and removing the spacers out back for a overall 3/4 drop (Autoride truck). I have already added Eibach sways front and rear; I plan to also include the DJM rear hardware kit and the Spohn panhard at your suggestion (hopefully this spring).

Looking forward to following your build thread!

if your going to pull th rear spacers i would do it.

I would do the rear djm hardware kit (im running that one) and the spohn to recenter rear end go with it.

Thanks Tony, in your build, are you planning on only doing the 2" in front? Is the Autoride something you're planning on keeping?

I would assume that using the BT front spring with the spacers would be acceptable with the Autoride struts to get a 3" drop in front.?.?

Anyone have a link to a walkthrough on doing this? I've done some searching and there is plenty of mention of "free travel" but I haven't seen anything w/ a big ass red arrow and a note reading "cut this"
