I have a set of Belltech lowering struts on the front of my Tahoe to help get the 4" out the front. Right now I have spindles and the struts up front with no spacers on it. The driver side is measuring about 3/16 lower than the driver side which don't seem much but when you look at it you could see the difference. I was told to add one small 8mm spacer but from what the instructions show its 0.315in thick. Wouldn't that raise it up higher than 3/16 (0.1875)? Just trying to make sure before I go through the pain of taking it apart for nothing.

I believe that would bump it about 1/2 inch

When I did mine, I had to take it apart twice after the first install to get it level...

You have yours at 4"?

My front sat at 32" and that's including my 2" drop spindles. It sits a little lower now :secret:

If you clink the picture in my signature you can see where the 32" sat at

I lowered it last weekend and the gaps was perfect. After a week of driving it the front went down more and the driver side is sagging compared to the passenger side. Now the front sits way lower than the back. When I put the struts on I took all the spacers including the 10mm off so the spring pocket sits at the very bottom of the strut because I asked tony and he said no spacers. Looking at the instructions it says I was suppose to leave the one 10mm spacer on it with no 8mm spacers. I want to raise the driver side but I think that the 8mm spacer will bump it up a half inch and then it will be higher than the passenger.

did you leave the 10mm spacer on the strut? Right now mine is sitting at 31 on the driver and about 31 3/16 on the passenger side

I think I need to look over the front of my Tahoe. I measured it when I got home earlier and it was Driver front: 31 and Passenger front: 31 3/16. Just went move the truck and parked back in same spot. Driver front: between 30 15/16 and 31.. and Passenger front: between 31 and 31 1/16... Not sure why it keeps moving

your off 3/16 thats really close. If rear is off will throw off the front and also if you lift one side due to the swaybar connecting the a arms the other side will come up a little also and these trucks sit lower on drivers side normally.

I like to keep a 1/2 inch rake on the trucks I do.

What should I torque the front strut bolts too?
