New to forum. Just ordered a new Tahoe LS. I like cloth and I prefer the open dash area you get with the bench 40/20/40 seat vs the buckets and console.
That said my plan is to remove the center 20 section and install a Tuffy armrest console. I retain the open dash, get more storage and most importantly I get a secure lock box for firearms etc,
Question anyone else done similar have any photos etc? Even just a photo of the section removed would be great. Just waiting door it to arrive next month and would like to brain storm.
PPV Tahoes I've been in are same with the section deleted so we could install Harris electronics console. So think this will be great solution for my personal rig.
