I just replaced the broken bump stops on the front of my 2001 Yukon 4WD. When I lowered the truck back down I noticed the A arms were resting on the new bump stops. Can someone tell me if this is correct?
Yes that's how they work. They're actually "jounce stops" and the torsion bars need to leverage against them to work correctly. They are in constant contact.
