Front Corner marker not working

Okay so when i start my Hoe only one of my front corner lights come on but when i manually turn on my headlights both work. WTF?

Do you mean only one DRL works but the parking lights are ok?

X1 The corner markers don't come on that I know of during the day. Just the DRLs. Apparently it's common for them to go out. I see Trucks Yukons and Hoes winking at me all the time lol

Ok sorry for the confusion. Neither one of the daytime running lights come on, only one parking lamp, even when im driving down the road

time to replace some bulbs it sounds like. They are dual filament bulbs, and maybe when you switch to headlights it switches to the other filament so the brighter one can be the turnsignal. that is the only reason I can think of why it would NOT work as a running light but would when the headlights are on.

Unless you meant both headlights work but only one parking light, which would make more sense.

I did all ambers in mine... I like the amber DRLs so much more than the sickly yelow white.

No Eagle I mean the only thing that is on is one parking lamp until i manually turn on the headlights and then everything works. Its confusing as hell i know

so you have a parking light on as a drl,
or only ONE parking light on when parking light (or fog) is selected?

and what year model is your truck? I know some of lights were ground switched at one point so a shorted ground could possibly result in a light coming ON instead of off?

ok maybe im gettin it wrong. its the long clear light skinny light under my headlight on the driver's side that comes on with the hoe and the only light that comes on until i manually turn the headlight switch on then everything comes on...both headlights and both of the clear lights under them. ive got an 03 Lt

ok Joe I thought we had the same thing and we do.

on each long light there are 3 bulbs...

from inner to outer they are
DRL,
park-turn
and a 194 that functions either as a park or a turn.

STOCK:

The DRL comes on when the vehicle is running, there is light out, and it is not in park nor has the parking brake on.

parks (both) come on when the headlights come on automatically (dark), or when commanded by the rotary switch, or FOGs on.

turns self explanatory.


Can you tell me what bulb exactly is coming on?
