60k Miles, new to me so I am going through the process of changing all fluids.

Just finished the front diff.

It was a milky gray. Doesn’t smell burned, but boy am I glad I changed it.

I also changed the transfer case fluid, and it was burned to a crisp. Black. And smelled very burned.

No, not like there was water in it.
Just the color of a milky gray.
If this site allowed me to post pics, I’d post one. I captured the first pint into a clear container.

Why can't you post pics? Right next to "post reply" is a box that says "upload a file". If you hit that you have the option of where to find the picture to upload to the site.

I’ve tried it on the site and with Tapatalk. Gives me an error every time. Just tried it again on Tapatalk and it says “the field discussion state was not recognized”

I've never used tapacrap so I wouldn't know about that but I've never had a problem in all the years I've been on here using either Chrome, IE or Safari. Try using a browser.
