Front Door Speaker Bose 2 Ohms Replacement Recommendation

I have one blown front door speaker in my 2005 Tahoe Z71 with a Bose System. It is 6.5 in in diameter. The part number is 15054679. Does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement? Thank you all in advance! Pic of the original speaker included below.

The Bose speakers have a lower impedance than most aftermarket speakers (2.x Ohm vs. 4 Ohm), so replacement needs to be procured carefully.

Call the folks at Crutchfield (Crutchfield.com), tell them what you want and your budget, and they will tell you what speakers meet your requirements. Or, just go to Crutchfield.com and search for a 2 Ohm speaker in the correct size.

Nice Truck! Crutchfield does not catch the impedance issue. They wanted to sell me a 4 ohm speaker. Thanks for confirming.

No problem. I see what you are talking about regarding Crutchfield's offerings. They do sell Bose speakers on Amazon, which are 1 Ohm impedance, and that may work.

For me, I'm not a fan of the Bose sound, so I replaced the entire audio system with an aftermarket system.

Thanks Joseph, I prefer to replace the whole system (~1000 Cructfield qiuote) but I am not sure how much longer I will keep the truck. I will find something. Thanks Again.
