Front Driver Door Speaker Problem

I have a 2004 Tahoe that came stock with bose and onstar. My stock speaker in the driver door was very quiet and then I replaced them with Pioneer component 6.5 and the sound is very quiet with some hissing. I have an aftermarket JVC head unit with an Axxess adapter harness. Thanks for any help

Denali i just picked up had the same issu e, pull your door panel and I betcha the contacts in the connector are corroded! Little bit of scratch brite and a pick gottem cleaned up and bingo!
