Like it says, how is the bowtie attached to the grill? I have a new one I want to put on and I was hoping to do it without taking the grill off. I have the removable billet inserts so I can get my hand in there and I can feel where the studs are but before I break something I wanted to ask. Is it just pressed in or is there something else holding it?

Don't even worry about it, just take off your grille and pop the old one out and get the grille back on the truck and then just use some epic super glue to attach the new one, it works better and doesn't rattle around that way.

They are held on by two washer like things. You won't break anything, go for it. And if you don't ever plan on taking this bowtie off id put some kind of glue on it the back like bc said.

be careful taking those two nuts off of the old emblem if you have any interest in keeping it. its pretty easy to snap off the plastic prongs on the backside of the emblem.

theres 2 10mm bolts.... youll be fine,, youll have to take off the top part of the grille and reach inside it to pop it off, no glue is necessary..

depends on what the new emblem is like though. all the chrome ones i've ever installed had really weak threads for the bolts and i've used 3m double sized tape to secure them. it does the job but can be removed if necessary
