Front pillar Bose speakers

Sorry for the stupid question, but don't want to break anything. Just wondering if the front pillar speakers cover just pops off? Iam wanting to paint them, saw another member do this but can't remember where I saw it. Thank you from the new guy.

You have to take the pillar off to be able to pop the grill off the speaker.

I was going to paint them, but now that I know the column needs to be removed I'm not sure. I might try plasti-dip, I just did all my emblems with it last night and it looks awesome.

i think it was my pictures you seen i did all the woodgrain all the door switches the tweeters and light housings and i didnt pull off the pillar just put a panal puller and it popped right out

Thanks for replying man, ya it was your pics that I saw. Your speaker grilles look nice. What hold on the grille? Just clips? How did you cover the BOSE piece on the grille?
