Alright so I've been looking around the Internet trying to figure out where I get the best price for the struts I need to replace on the front. Then the confusing part is trying to figure out what part numbers I need. On my struts now it shows part number 25888596. That number does that cross reference with anything on the Internet. No I've seen part number 19300036 come up a lot which also cross-references with 580–431 and 580–369. Can someone shed some light on this please ?

you looking for the whole strut or just the shock? I dont think you can buy the GM strut unless you go to the dealer.

Either way really depending on price. It appears Amazon is the cheapest place to pick them up unless someone else has another idea

Check your other post. I put a link in it.

Also, here is from another thread I posted in a while back with the parts I used....

You will need to call your dealer and give them your vin. They will give you the part number. I bought everything online.

Here is the link for the front struts that I used...

Here is the rears, thats the cheapest I have ever seen them. I paid $300 each so thats a steal..

Here is the compressor...

Again, these are the parts that my truck used, yours may be different.

I dont remember exactly but i'm pretty sure I looked it up on rockauto.com. there are lots of part numbers though and I just looked it up again. Its really confusing. Also if you look parts up on amazon.com and enter your vehicle info it can search for parts that fit though I'm not sure how accurate that is on amazon. All i can say is if your concerned about getting the right parts then visit the dealer and beg for the part numbers lol.

You need to look up the 193 part numbers, those are the new ones. The 580-431 or whatever are the AC Delco part numbers and should cross reference. You can look on Rock Auto or GM Parts direct for part numbers or call the Chevy house and ask. Also, I have new rear ones if you need them.

Thanks but I replace the rear's with Arnott system last year. Guess I'll call the dealership in the morning and find out for sure
